Wordle Helper
I have also created this Wordle helper. Here’s a guide on how to use it:
- Green letters: Place your green letters on the respective position of the Fill-in-the-Blanks Search
- Yellow Letters: Add any yellow letters to the “Unknown Letters” search box, which keeps track of letters that are in the word but not yet in the right place. Don’t use any spaces!
- Need more Yellow Letters rows? Just click the + button!
- Gray letters: Enter any gray letters into the “Exclude Letters” search box to eliminate words containing those letters.
- Click on Search: When you click on “Search” it will give you all the possible words.
- Exclude Words Already Used toggle will exclude the words that have been used as a Wordle answer before today.
- Click on a word to get the dictionary definition.
Please also consult my Wordle List With Already Used Words to make sure that you are not using an already used Wordle word.
The list I use for the Wordle Helper includes 3,189 words that the WordleBot thinks could possibly be the Solution. The original list from Josh Wardle was 2,315. New York Times removed some words that users might find offensive, but then added some as well. It’s safe to say that if a result looks too offensive to you, it’s probably out.

Hello, thank you for your website. It’s the one I use now that solvle went down. Is there any way you could add a slider to use just the original wordle list please? Also, it difficult when two words are used and there are more than one different yellow letter in the same word position. Thank you again either way.
Hello Stoe! I’ve been trying for a couple of hours to make it so that a user can add more yellow rows, but I haven’t made it work yet. I will try again this weekend. But as for your first question, I am not sure I understand the use case of such a slider.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to respond to my message. I appreciate you working on that update. To give more info about my first question, I also use this for Octordle, which uses the original Wordle list. So being able to differentiate between the original list and the ny times extended list would be very helpful. Thank you again.
