As you may already know I already have a Wordle Word Checker and Helper page. A user mentioned that Octordle uses the original Wordle list, without the additions made by the NYT team.
Thus I created this Octordle helper that only uses possible solutions from the original Wordle list. Here’s a guide on how to use it:
- Green letters: Place your green letters on the respective position of the Fill-in-the-Blanks Search
- Yellow Letters: Add any yellow letters to the “Unknown Letters” search box, which keeps track of letters that are in the word but not yet in the right place. Don’t use any spaces!
- Need more Yellow Letters rows? Just click the + button!
- Gray letters: Enter any gray letters into the “Exclude Letters” search box to eliminate words containing those letters.
- Click on Search: When you click on “Search” it will give you all the possible words.
